    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse who is experienced and passionate to join the Community Stroke Rehabilitation Team (CSRT).

    We continue to build on our reputation for innovation and excellence, consistently delivering outstanding performance, whilst developing the skills and abilities of our staff.

    You will also carry out nursing assessments and write activity plans to support patient needs and rehabilitation. This will include advice and education on secondary prevention, including diabetes.

    This post is part of a large interdisciplinary team, as well as needing to liaise with other health professionals such as GPs, social services and mental health teams.

    Current RN +/-, registration with NMC and any other relevant post registration qualifications
    BSc Degree in relevant field
    Teaching qualification/experience and accredited NMC before mentorship course
    Significant demonstrable experience within specialty with evidence of professional development
    Evidence of developing policy, guidelines and managing resources
    Effective leadership and team building skills
    Organisational skills and forward planning
    Demonstrable experience of effective management and supervision of staff and taking charge of ward/unit
