- Data analysis: Extracting key insights from transport data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Proven experience in transport planning and logistics, ideally within a similar fast-paced environment.
- A strong understanding of vehicle utilisation strategies and trunking operations.
- Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK, with a keen understanding of major road networks and potential challenges.
- A demonstrably numerate individual with a talent for data analysis and problem-solving.
- A keen eye for detail and strong numerical skills are essential for analysing data and optimising plans.A valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships as you will work closely with drivers, operations teams, and clients to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.
