    Description

    Summary of Role

    You will contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of security solutions for our clients working in a trusted and autonomous environment. We trust you to do what you do best.

    What you will be doing

    • Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and troubleshoot security systems including CCTV cameras, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and other related technologies.
    • System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on security systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This may include software updates, hardware upgrades, and system testing.
    • Monitoring and Response: Configure and install remote signalling devices. Test for the correct use. Commission and test to ARC's, Monitor all signals. fully test signalling.
    • Customer Support: Provide technical support to clients regarding security system issues. Troubleshoot problems remotely or onsite and provide solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of security system configurations, installation procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Keep detailed records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
    • Training: Provide training to clients on how to use security systems effectively. Educate end-users on best practices for maintaining security and preventing unauthorized access.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the security team, as well as with clients and vendors, to develop comprehensive security solutions tailored to specific needs and requirements.
    • Compliance: Ensure that security systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices. Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and security technologies to proactively address potential vulnerabilities.

    What we will need from you

    • Proven experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining security systems such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems (essential).
    • Strong technical skills in networking, hardware installation, and troubleshooting (essential).
    • Proficiency in security protocols and standards, such as TCP/IP, SSL, and AES (essential).
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendors (essential).
    • Willing to join the on-call rota (desirable).
    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities (essential).
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team (essential)
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Security Systems Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional) (highly desirable).
    • Willing to join the on-call rota (desirable).
