Assistant Human Resources Business Partner


Castlefield Recruitment is working in partnership with Public Sector organisation that requires an experienced Assistant Human Resources Business Partner for fixed term contract assignment commencing in November until March 31st 2023.

This role is payingbetween £48,526 pa and £54,619 pa and is a fully remote role.


Reporting into the Human Resources BusinessPartner you will be part of a team that is responsible as a collective for effective implementation and change management across the whole organisation.

The areas of work might include performance management,values and behaviours or organisation design.


Key responsibilities will include;

  • Support the delivery of major organisational change programmes
  • Develop good relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful
  • To work with key stakeholders
  • Experience of working in partnership with staff side representatives and trade unions in a complex operating environment, particularly in complex change management and TUPE situations
  • Provide support to key members of the management and operational teams

Key experience required;

  • Expert level of strategic workforce issues, including legislation, and best practice
  • Understanding of the principles of change management and able to demonstrate a successful track record of major organisational change
  • Knowledge of business planning, project management and risk management, and how those processes might be applied to organisational change
  • Significant experience of facilitating and managing change.
  • Experience of HR management and change implementation in a unionised environment
  • Experience of Trade Union consultation and negotiation
  • Evidence of effective working at a senior level in large, complex, environments.
  • Significant experience of facilitating and managing change and complex employee relations cases
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team and across systems
