Description

Apply scientific principles in a laboratory environment to develop downstream process unit operations to meet project deliverables.Assess business cases and support or lead the introduction of new processes and technologies to achieve project goals with a strong focus on manufacturability, sustainability, and quality.
Manage the scale-up and technology transfer of downstream processes to internal and external pilot plant and commercial manufacturing facilities.
Analyse data generated in experimental work and present conclusions and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders across R&D and Global Supply Chain.
Adhere to and help maintain the highest levels of safety and good lab practice across the department.Graduate qualification in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering, or equivalent.
An understanding of safe and effective laboratory working.
Excellent organizational skills - Able to plan, execute, and troubleshoot multiple tasks within the laboratory and office environment.
Ability to proactively generate and critically review data as a key to problem solving.
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or process development.
