- Supporting the UK Change Manager in all aspects of portfolio management
- Supporting and guiding project managers and product owners in governance and reporting processes
- Managing the Change Board and stage gate process
- Taking responsibility for the PMO function and its processes
- Portfolio risk management
- Portfolio financial management
- Reviewing and adapting PMO processes to support shift to a more agile environment
- Production of portfolio reports for UK Leadership Team
- Previous experience of managing a PMO function
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of supporting projects in a complex environment
- Experience of working with a range of stakeholders, both from an assisting and assurance perspective
- Excellent MS Office skills especially MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly organised with practical experience of planning and resource scheduling
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with people at all levels within and external to the business
- Have supported a transition to an agile delivery model
- Experience working with a PPM Tool
- Insurance or financial services

The Team:
The Hiscox UK Change Team is the bridge between the business and the technology teams, ensuring that technology change is prioritised, defined, broken down and delivered in a way that enables the business to achieve its strategic goals, whilst also enabling the technology strategy. As PMO manager you will be supporting the delivery of a complex portfolio of projects and value streams. You will need a strong understanding of portfolio management and PMO processes. You will need to have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
