    Description
    Quality Engineer
    • Job Summary: The main focus of this role is on enhancing products and processes through data analysis tools and improvement techniques. Responsibilities include managing product approval procedures, developing Control Plans, and coordinating PPAP activities.
    Main Duties:
    • Utilizing data analysis tools and improvement techniques for product and process enhancement
    • Reporting Quality & Business Metrics such as PEAR data, IDN Data, and RFT
    • Overseeing NADCAP approval for Heat Treatment processes
    • Managing the Complaints System and collaborating with sales & finance on credits and returns
    • Supervising the CPAR system to ensure effective corrective actions
    • Performing APQP activities including FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP
    • Developing and approving suppliers, monitoring their performance, and conducting audits
    • Writing, reviewing, and updating procedures to ensure compliance
    • Reviewing customer satisfaction data and implementing improvements
    • Training team members on improvement techniques, procedure changes, and quality awareness
    • IDN analysis, root cause identification, and corrective action
    • Liaising with customers and delivering presentations
    Secondary & Supporting Duties:
    • Assisting with customer and 3rd party audits
    • Supporting the MOC System and conducting risk assessments
    • Managing measuring equipment and performing MSA
    • Providing backup for the Inspection Manager as needed
    Demonstrable Experience:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques
    • Experience in Quality Management System Implementation and Development
    • Familiarity with International Quality Standards in Aerospace or automotive Industry
    • Experience with PFMEA, APQP, Control Plans & PPAP is advantageous
