- Assisting product development and systems engineering activities for new products
- Coordination of product development and related engineering activities
- Configuration and maintenance of Engineering bills of materials for products
- Product development and evaluation e.g. Pugh Matrices, Fault Tree Analysis, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
- Manufacture, test and evaluation of munitions products
- Conducting and managing trials in a safe and suitable manner - from the trials planning stage to completion of the trial and presentation of the data
- Development and use safe systems of work
- Development of quality systems
- Management of stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure that development activities are completed to time and schedule
- Contribution to the Life Cycle Management Process where required

Job Description
Would you like to join a multi-disciplined engineering team involved in the development, manufacture and testing of a number of new products? We currently have vacancies for Product Development Engineers in the Future Programmes team, to support the design and development of advanced munitions products at our Glascoed site in South Wales.
As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for technical aspects of your respective programmes.
Projects will cover all phases of a product's lifecycle:
concepts, development, testing, qualification, production and in service support.
You will work with a team of engineers to deliver a variety of project goals, depending on project size and complexity.
This diverse role will provide you with the opportunity to engage with many different engineering disciplines, as well as gaining a wealth of experience in this area.
The position will be based primarily at Glascoed, Monmouthshire, however, occasional travel to other manufacturing and test/evaluation sites will be necessary.
