- Assisting the Tax Partner with technical research and presenting tax advice directly to clients across all taxation areas
- Aiding the Tax Partner in handling internal technical tax inquiries for Partners and Managers, spanning all tax domains
- Collaborating with the Tax Partner to formulate tax planning concepts and offer proactive advice, including updates to both partners/staff and clients
- Supporting in the preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns for a client portfolio
- Supporting the Tax Partner in preparing US Federal Tax Returns
- Prior experience in mixed UK taxation (both private and corporate clients) is preferred, although candidates with a focus on private clients willing to gain corporate tax experience will be taken into account
- Candidates must possess some background in tax advisory
- While CTA-qualified candidates are preferable, individuals with alternative tax or accounting certifications and those qualified by experience will be considered
- Must be ready (and capable) to conduct thorough technical research, meet deadlines, and delve into a variety of issues
- Experience in US tax is advantageous but not mandatory
- £40,000 - £55,000 salary based on expertise and background, open to negotiation

Our client operates 2 offices based in Eastbourne & Brighton and takes pride in their positive family-like environment.

You will be part of the Tax team, supporting in client accounting and tax compliance responsibilities with the chance to advance in your taxation career.
