    Description

    We've teamed up with an exceptional independent chartered accountancy practice based in Eastbourne to assist them in finding a Tax Senior / Manager. With offices in Eastbourne & Brighton, our client prides themselves on their positive family culture.

    As part of the tax team, you'll be involved in client accounting and tax compliance tasks with the chance to advance your career in taxation. This role offers exposure to diverse tax advisory projects & the unique opportunity to enhance your UK and US tax expertise.

    Responsibilities/duties:

    • Assisting the Tax Partner with technical research and providing tax advice directly to clients across all tax areas
    • Supporting the Tax Partner in addressing internal technical tax queries and assisting in tax planning
    • Collaborating with the Tax Partner on developing tax planning strategies and offering proactive advice
    • Aiding in the preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns for a client portfolio
    • Supporting the Tax Partner in preparing US Federal Tax Returns
    Requirements:

    Requirements for this role include:

    • Prior experience in working with mixed UK taxation (private & corporate clients) is preferred
    • CTA-qualified candidates are preferred, but other tax/accounting qualifications will be considered
    • Ability to conduct detailed technical research, work under deadlines, and engage in various tax issues
    • Experience in US tax is a plus but not mandatory
    Benefits:

    £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, negotiable.
