- Don't have to have a background in travel, but ideally have experience managing PPC campaigns for a mid-sized to a large brand ideally with budgets in excess of a million(s)
- Good knowledge of working Adwords and can create campaigns from scratch not just modify existing "always-on campaigns"
- Have a good technical background in the Google suite
- Previous experience of working in a B2C customer base

Why's that important to being a PPC Specialist?
Let's wind back the clock...
Back to the moments before we had something like this all to look forward to.
To the weeks and months where you had no holiday booked... but you were looking.
You'd been running searches on websites. Checked out a few tour operators, destinations, hotels, and travel dates. Maybe you'd travelled with them before. Maybe you just went back to their website a number of times and inputted some data.
Where did that all start? PPC.
How did they find your company, with a well-placed ad that understands the user and how people use search engines, you know "UK Holidays" will attract greater traction than "Caravan holidays near me" and multiple other combinations.
It's the first step to landing a new customer and it's vital in the travel industry.
You providing hands-on management of PPC and understand how to get the best bang for your buck when it comes to PPC budgets is essential.
Working as part of the PPC team through technical build, multiple PPC campaigns on behalf of well-known travel company.
The team is well-established and part of a well oiled travel machine, they know their customer and how they think, they are looking for someone who wants a challenging role and to learn from a best in class travel brand.
So over the coming year there's going to be a lot of emphasis on focusing on quick win opportunities. Customers are becoming more and more savy when it comes to searching for holidays so you need to be on top of the trends.
Ultimately by the end of your first year in role, you will have learnt a lot, you will be progressing on your career as a PPC Expert.
