    Description

    We are looking for a Power Apps Developer to join our IT team and create custom business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will work closely with the business users and stakeholders to understand their needs, design solutions, and develop, test, and deploy the applications. You will also provide technical support and maintenance for the existing applications.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, test, and deploy Power Apps applications using Canvas or Model-driven app approach.
    • Integrate Power Apps applications with other Microsoft services such as Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint,
    • Teams, etc.
    • Use Dataverse or other data sources to store and manage data for the applications.
    • Implement best practices, standards, and guidelines for Power Apps development.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and bugs in the applications.
    • Support the creation of documentation and training for the end-users and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with other teams on Power Platform projects.

    • Communication - Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately across all levels of the business, and collaborate easily, openly, and regularly with managers to understand interdependencies across teams. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Teamwork - Ability to work cross functionally and to build and develop effective working relationships. Maintain the strictest confidences with sensitive matters, including preparing and reviewing documentation.
    • Problem solving - Ability to analyse problems and offer solutions objectively, and to operate independently, making high level decisions on behalf of stakeholders within a fast paced and complexed setting. Can quickly grasp the political landscape and key people with the organization.
    • Self-management - Strong time-management skills and the ability to organise and coordinate multiple projects at once. Full competency in diary management, can apply good judgement and understands competing priorities, as well as running a clean and efficient diary.
    • Planning and organising - Exceptional organisational and time management skills.

    Technological Experience:

    • Experience in developing Power Apps applications using Canvas or Model-driven app approach.
    • Experience in using Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, or other Microsoft services.
    • Experience in using Common Data Service (CDS) or other data sources for Power Apps applications.
    • Working knowledge of Azure and/or Power Platform backend infrastructure would be useful.
    • Knowledge of Power Apps formulas, expressions, and functions.
    • Knowledge of Power Apps security and governance features.
