    With a good working knowledge within IT and application development and coding, working under the Senior Developer/s you will help with the development and implementation of new software applications and services, as well as supporting maintenance of existing and legacy applications where asked.

    To meet changing business needs, Application Developers may need to learn new skills subject to receiving the appropriate technical training.

    L&C is authorised and regulated by the FCA and is classified as an Enhanced Firm under the Senior Manager's and Certification Regime (SM&CR).

    Should you apply for a Certified role in another financial services firm then L&C may be required to disclose this information in a Regulatory Reference request.


    Your experience and technical knowledge has given you a solid understanding of web design and development principles.

    You'll have a good base knowledge and understanding of certain coding languages but are eager to increase that knowledge, improving upon your skills and learning directly from the Senior Developers.

    You'll be proficient and able to assist with all aspects of web design, from development of new applications to both back and front end testing.

    With strong attention to detail and analytical skills, you'll be able to review code for errors and ensure work is of the highest quality.

    There will also be a focus on your own personal development, with this the requirement to undertake additional training and qualifications will be provided.
