    Asta (A Davies Company)

    The Client Management team works to maximise the partnership between Asta and its clients, building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the portfolio of syndicates under management, with Lloyd's and within Asta departments. The Assistant Client Manager works closely with the team providing support across a wide range of areas and across all syndicates under management.

    The ACM has good knowledge across the clients under management and an understanding of the key roles and responsibilities of each Asta function. The ACM acts as a conduit for information across Asta.

    Key tasks

    • Working with the Client Managers, helping to facilitate a good working relationship between senior syndicate staff and Asta Managing Agency. Providing a key point of contact for the syndicate to raise and resolve escalations and ad hoc queries.
    • Acting as Client Manager for all outsource clients – including tracking of contracts, rates applied, contract review dates, reviewing Asta timesheet data and coordinating with Asta teams if outside expectations, review of invoices and face to face meetings with clients as required.
    • Assisting the Client Managers with onboarding new syndicates and or SIABs into the Asta Framework including updating the project plan, attending meetings, minuting actions, sharing relevant information across Asta functions.
    • Responsible for the collation and review of timesheet data () reports from tableau across functions, highlighting exceptions and trends and liaison with various Asta departments where applicable. Prepare summary for Client Managers for onwards reporting to syndicates.
    • Working with the Rio Principle owners, keeping track of gaps and progress made to close gaps across the portfolio of syndicates. Keeping Lloyd's and various Asta Committees updated on progress and any key areas of concern.
    • Working with the Committees team and across Asta functions, review and enhance quality and consistency of Asta papers to various boards and committees. Drafting initial SB chairs reports for the CMs

    • Good organisational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and to manage multiple deadlines

    Key technical skills, knowledge, and professional qualifications

    • Broad understanding of how a syndicate operates within the Lloyd's market.
    • A good understanding of a Lloyd's Managing Agencies responsibilities
    • Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders
