- Conducting thorough assessments of clients' dietary habits, medical history, and nutritional needs to create individualised nutrition plans.
- Developing personalised meal plans and nutritional strategies tailored to the specific health requirements and goals of each client.
- Providing education and counselling to clients and their families on healthy eating habits, food preparation, and managing specific dietary conditions.
- Working with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and a holistic approach to patient health.
- Regularly reviewing and adjusting nutrition plans based on client progress and changing needs, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed client records in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards.
- Participating in community outreach and health promotion activities to encourage healthy lifestyles and raise awareness about nutrition-related issues.
- Degree in Dietetics or related field.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent.
- Experience in clinical dietetics or a related area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to client-centered care and promoting healthy eating habits.
