    The Group Events Manager will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing various events to enhance brand visibility, engage clients, and foster relationships. The role will work across the Group to deliver on key objectives through our channels and work across internal, external audiences.

    Role Responsibilities:

  • Work with Corporate Communications and Marketing teams to agree event message and themes to ensure alignment of key messages
  • Lead on all aspects of event delivery from project plan, brief, agency selection, content development, budget management, delegate registration, giveaways, theming, delegate feedback mechanisms etc.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop content and influence accordingly to get required content when required
  • Deliver all events to a high standard and actively seek feedback to further optimise event programme
  • Development of event proposals and briefs for VIPS, executives and subject matter experts
  • Monitor and track engagement and contribute to reporting requirements to analyse event ROI
  • Ability to embrace new ideas and make recommendations for change by leveraging best practices or creating new ones for others to use.
  • Required Experience:

  • Proven event management experience within corporate environment, including experience managing both proprietary and third-party events. You must be flexible in approach, and able to work within time constraints and handle multiple projects with tight turn-around times.
  • Experience consulting with the business and marketing teams on how events can best fit into campaign planning and execution.
  • Self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple events at once, assess and prioritize workload in a deadline-driven environment, sometimes on short notice
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint. Collaboration tools such as Salesforce, and ON24
