    Join GSL Education as a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) in Hedge end, we are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic candidates.This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to get into teaching and wants to build up their confidence in the classroom - delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour.

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic individuals for the role of High Level Teaching Assistant across our Primary Schools in Hedge end.

    Position: High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
    Location: Hedge end
    Salary Scale: £ £15.50 per Hour
    Contract Type: Full-time

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Teaching assistant supporting class teacher and covering lessons during PPA time.
    • Collaborate closely with teachers to support lesson delivery and classroom activities as a High-Level Teaching Assistant.
    • Provide targeted one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by teachers.
    • Assist in preparing engaging learning materials and resources to enhance lesson effectiveness.
    • Foster positive relationships with students to support their social and emotional development.
    • Implement behavior support strategies in alignment with school policies to maintain a positive learning environment.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in a similar role as a High-Level Teaching Assistant is advantageous but not essential.
    • Demonstrated genuine passion for education and commitment to student well-being.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic educational environment.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other support staff for student success.
