    Description

    Job Opportunity: HR Business Partner

    Our client, a specialty insurer in the Lloyds market, has a unique opportunity for an HR Business Partner to join their HR Business Partnering team on a hybrid basis for a 3-month Fixed Term Contract in London. This role could also be available on a part-time basis.

    The Role:

    As HR Business Partner, you will:

    1. Provide learning, talent, and development solutions to the business.
    2. Facilitate and manage in-house programs, including intern programs, coaching and mentoring training, and DEI programs.
    3. Provide support and guidance to early career talent.
    4. Co-ordinate the company's talent exchange program with the parent company.
    5. Manage professional studies on a day-to-day basis.
    6. Support training and talent initiatives.
    7. Lead the selection of the company's apprentices/grads for 2024, including the coordination of assessment centers.
    8. Support the Head with project work and new initiatives as required.

    About You:

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Have experience within an insurance or financial services business.
    • Have worked in a Learning and Development and/or HR environment previously.
    • Have solid experience in managing early careers programs, e.g., apprenticeship and graduate programs.
    • Have designed and delivered training, talent, and learning and development initiatives.
    • Be used to partnering with the business to conduct training needs analysis.
    • Have solid coaching and facilitation skills.
    • Have an understanding of Actuarial, ACII, and finance qualifications and study processes, which would be extremely beneficial in this role.
    • Have an understanding of FSA and other appropriate regulatory body requirements.
