    Description

    SRG are collaborating with an exciting and growing organization seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join them for a 6-month period.

    This presents a fantastic opportunity to become part of the team during a bustling period.

    Given that this is a Fixed-Term Contract, applicants should reside within a commutable distance to enable an early start date.

    The Role:

    • Coordinate and document shipments of all products to various destinations.
    • Manage global imports and stay updated on all pertinent regulations (IP, Duties, VAT etc).
    • Hold and renew the approved qualification for the transportation of Dangerous Goods by Airfreight (and Road/Sea if applicable) with monthly reporting.
    • Validate tariff codes and ensure compliance with HMRC guidelines pertaining to duty and tax implications.
    • Offer a comprehensive support service to the organization, overseeing the production, coordination, and updating of department records, familiarity with site-wide electronic systems like SAP, ENSUR & Trackwise.
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Warehouse departments to streamline procedures and systems for efficient material receipt on-site to reduce potential stock and supplier issues.
    • Lead other Supply Chain enhancement projects as instructed by the Supply Chain Manager and Operations Director.
    • Adhere to all EHS, GMP, and other Company regulations as part of standard work practices.

    Requirements:

    • Maths and English academic qualifications
    • Strong attention to detail and data precision
    • Prior exposure to SAP
    • Experience in shipping/logistics (International Trade)
    • Proficient in Microsoft applications
    • Background in a dynamic and heavily regulated production environment would be advantageous
