    Sustainability Reporting Specialist
    Salary: up to £45,000 per annum

    plus £4,620 per annum car allowance
    Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
    Hybrid role with travel across the UK

    Answering to the Specialities Sustainability & CI Leader, you'll be a key member of a specialized team responsible for overseeing all our sustainability data, steering the sustainability reporting process, and aiding in the creation and execution of our carbon reduction roadmap. The Specialities sector comprises three business units: UK Municipal, catering to 6 Local Authorities; and mainland Europe based Coolrec (refrigerator and waste electrical equipment recycling business); and Maltha (glass recycling business).

    You must possess a fervor for sustainability and the circular economy and excel in advancing and enacting performance metrics and analytics to gauge program efficacy. Proficiency in data and reporting within an international corporation or consultancy is required.

    Some of your primary responsibilities:

    - Directing and refining our reporting methodologies for tracking all sustainability data across the Specialities division encompassing recycling rates, carbon emissions, and energy and water usage

    - Spearheading the creation and deployment of new reporting tools, maintaining their currency, and ensuring they fulfill the needs of all organizational levels

    - Backing the sustainability enhancement program throughout the division and ensuring alignment on essential metrics, calculating their influence on strategic objectives

    - Collaborating with operational site teams and support functions to propel a positive and enduring shift towards a sustainable mindset

    - Aiding the Sustainability & CI Leader in pinpointing strategic prospects, translating strategy into action via focused and agreed-upon projects

    - Assisting in setting targets and roadmaps for elevating sustainability performance

    - Participating in the establishment of a data analytics platform, utilizing tools such as QilkView and PowerBI to provide insights and targeted measures to boost our performance

    - Supporting sustainability audits and the associated requisites linked to divisional accreditations

    Essential Criteria for this role:
    - experience in sustainability reporting
    - A logical thinker with the vigor, enthusiasm, and perseverance to reinforce a sustainability reporting and enhancement initiative
    - A team collaborator, capable of collaborating with professionals from diverse domains, yet competent in functioning autonomously
    - An adept communicator across all organizational levels with exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
    - Proficient analytical, problem-solving, and report writing skills and a recognition of the significance of precise and meticulous data collection and analysis
