    Salary:
    £45,326 - £52,426 dependent on skills and experience What you'll be doing: As a Product Security Engineer you will be helping Future Combat Air System (FCAS) stakeholders to clearly understand their exposure to security threats / risks and put in place pragmatic and cost effective controls.

    Day to day tasks will include things like:
    Understanding business and product risk context (typical business drivers, security threats and implementation challenges)

    Judging risk at a technical and business process level and clearly articulate both verbally and in writing to key stakeholders Reviewing effectiveness of controls and proposing proportionate security improvements Analysing and researching security technologies to support the development of innovative solutions Applying standard frameworks or relevant BAE Systems intellectual property rights (IPR)/standard approaches Leading the creation of risk assessment/reports Your skills and experiences:
    A background within either Systems Engineering, Risk Management, Product Safety or Reliability Engineering STEM Degree or equivalent
    Ability to articulate and pitch advice, often at a technical level, directly to key customer stakeholders
    Excellent interpersonal skills as well as both written and verbal communication and presentation skills

    The FCAS Product security team:

    This role will provide the opportunity to work with colleagues from across the breadth of BAES FCAS programmes and partner companies.

    The role is mostly Warton site based but it is likely to involve some travel to other BAE Systems sites, partner sites, customer sites, and occasional international travel.
