    If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager at a leading educational institution. This role is pivotal in developing and managing preventative maintenance contracts and a statutory compliance programme.
    Day to Day of the Role:
    Develop and manage a scheduled maintenance programme, ensuring minimal disruption to the institution's functions and events.
    Specify, procure, and manage maintenance services, acting as the main point of contact for contractors.
    Maintain a master schedule of contracts, providing cost information and managing budgets.
    Regularly meet with contractors to review and monitor performance, including financial management.
    Manage reactive maintenance, responding to unplanned breakdowns and overseeing completion of issues.
    Stay up-to-date with legislation changes, ensuring all maintenance activities comply with relevant standards.
    Oversee in-house compliance Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes.
    Lead on the migration of statutory maintenance assets into the CAFM system and manage statutory campus-wide surveys.
    Provide specialist advice to support the development of policies and procedures.
    Lead project teams, monitor budgets, and ensure projects support the operational needs of the institution.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    Proven experience in compliance management within a facilities or estates environment.
    Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and statutory compliance.
    Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts and projects.
    Knowledge of current legislation, British and European standards, and industry standards.
    Experience with CAFM systems and asset management programmes.
    Ability to provide specialist advice and contribute to policy development.
    Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
