    Role Purpose

    The Memberships, CPD and Alumni Officer will play a central part in supporting Metanoia's Membership activity by providing administrative functions and support to members. The role will provide administrative support to the CPD element while supporting and maintaining a partnership between Metanoia and all Alumni.

    Role and Responsibilities

    Continuing Professional Development

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify CPD requirements, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Coordinate CPD events by liaising with subject specialists, external trainers, and speakers to arrange content delivery.
    • Manage the logistical aspects of CPD events, including scheduling, venue booking, equipment setup, and materials preparation (online, hybrid, and face-to-face modes).
    • Ensure compliance with CPD accreditation standards and regulatory requirements for all events.
    • Monitor CPD attendance, feedback, and evaluations to assess effectiveness and make recommendations for enhancements.

    Membership Management

    • Maintain the membership database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of member information, payments and subscriptions.
    • Process new membership applications, renewals and cancellations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
    • Respond to membership inquiries, provide assistance and resolve issues or concerns related to membership benefits and services.
    • Develop strategies to attract and retain members, including promotional campaigns, outreach activities and engagement initiatives.
    • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create and distribute membership-related materials, newsletters and updates.
    • Analyse membership data and trends to identify opportunities for growth, diversification and enhancement of membership offerings.
    • Event Support (Online, Hybrid and in Person events)
    • Assist in the planning and coordination of CPD events by liaising with subject specialists and external trainers.
    • Coordinate logistics such as venue bookings, catering, audiovisual equipment and promotional materials for events.
    • Provide administrative support for event registration, attendee communication and post-event follow-up activities.
    • Collaborate with event organisers, sponsors and vendors to ensure deliverables are met and expectations are exceeded.

    Administrative Tasks

    • Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation related to CPD activities, membership records and event management.
    • Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations to track key performance indicators, metrics and outcomes related to CPD and membership activities.

    Essential Skills and Experience

    • Experience in coordinating Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events or similar educational initiatives.
    • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in database management and familiarity with membership management systems or CRM software.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing membership records, payments, and subscriptions.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to work.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements in a dynamic environment.
    • Ability to work evenings and weekends to support events, as part of contracted hours.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to professional development and membership organizations.
    • Experience in event planning, coordination, and logistical support.
    • Familiarity with marketing and communications strategies to promote membership and CPD offerings.
    • Previous experience in a membership-based organisation or association.
