£25,878 - £31,099 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Full Time, 37 hours per week
Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity for 2 years

What we are looking for

We are looking for a Lettings Co-ordinator to join our Choice Based Lettings Team within Housing Solutions. You will share our values, commitment, and motivation to make a difference for our residents, clients, and communities.

About the role

co-ordinate all tenancy terminations, meeting legal requirements as set out in housing law
liaise with a range of audiences including tenants, bereaved families, prospective tenants, council representatives and other agencies
obtain the necessary property details to advertise on our choice-based lettings system
serve Notice to Quit and register with the Public Trustee
co-ordinate and lead at the weekly void meeting ensuring collaborative working across other teams to achieve the void re-let targets
ensure utility invoices and Council Tax charges, for void properties, are paid on time
Manage a shared inbox ensuring messages are dealt with promptly.

About you


We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised administrator with strong communication skills to fit in with our busy, dedicated team.


You are likely to have a relevant qualification at NVQ level 3 or have gained equivalent knowledge through experience of working in a similar role.

Experience of terminating social housing tenancies and liaising with tenants would be an advantage.


A good communicator with empathy, patience and a calm nature, you will be able to identify challenging and sensitive situations through probing questions, sensitivity and good listening skills.

Ability to analyse information and situations to provide solutions to complex issues and problems.


Proficient IT skills are essential as well as the ability to focus on a task, whilst dealing with a busy workload that requires good time management skills and prioritisation.
