    Project Manager - Client and Marketing Systems
    Arbuthnot Latham has been associated with banking since 1833. We combine private and commercial banking, wealth planning and investment management. We believe in traditional relationship and service-led banking powered by modern technology.

    The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of individual projects and/or workstreams of larger programmes aimed at maintaining, enhancing and transforming the Client and Marketing Systems Platform.

    The Project Manager will be required to research, evaluate, define, plan, control and manage individual projects, workstreams within larger programmes and backlogs of smaller changes to deliver business focused IT solutions.

    The Project Manager will work within a team of multi- disciplined specialists within the Platform and wider business to deliver change utilising the Bank's Change Methodology and recognised industry best practices

    Provide input into the development of the Platform transformation strategy and roadmap to support future growth opportunities, along with improvements to technology and operational efficiency & effectiveness.

    Lead the end-to-end delivery of individual projects to agreed timescales, cost and quality.

    Ensuring that all project activity is delivered in adherence to the Bank's Change Framework, change processes, risk controls and delivery/governance performance metrics.

    Input into the development business cases, and prioritise projects to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with Platform/technology strategy.

    Whilst ensuring that individual projects are delivered in line with agreed benefits and business outcomes.
    Supports the construction, prioritisation, scheduling and implementation of the backlog of smaller changes and enhancements to the Platform.

    Work closely with the Senior Project Manager to ensure that resource is planned and obtained in a timely manner from the platform engineering team, Platform shared service functions, operational and business teams and 3 rd party suppliers to deliver agreed project outcomes.

    Utilise effective risk control processes and practices are in place within individual projects to maintain delivery in line with defined RCSA performance metrics.

    Ensure appropriate cost management processes are in place within individual projects and the small change backlog to ensure that change is delivered in line with agreed budgets.

    Support supplier management and 3 rd party contractual/commercial processes required for the delivery of individual projects.

    Work closely with the Enterprise Change Enablement PMO to ensure that projects are effectively scheduled through appropriate Release and Environment Management processes.

    Work closely with specialist shared service teams across IT Architecture, Information Security and Information Privacy to ensure that technology and operational designs are aligned with all required Bank standards and policies.

    Escalates identified risks and issues appropriately and in accordance with internal governance processes and controls.

    Input into the development of the Bank's Change Enablement capability through active contribution to the Change Management Community practice area.

    In terms of Change Management methodology and techniques, Client and Marketing subject matter and Client and Marketing technology solutions.

    Senior Project Manager
    PMO Manager
    Data Privacy and Data Security Managers
    Good understanding of Financial Services industry, specifically Wealth Management, Private Banking & Commercial Banking.
    Knowledge of AL's Wealth Management, Private Banking & Commercial Banking proposition, products and services desirable.
    Carefully managing client impact and communications within their individual projects
    Proven track record in leading, developing and delivering complex technology, business and regulatory change projects.
    Matrix management experience with the ability to define and plan resource requirements at each stage of the project.
    Experience interacting at Senior Management level and influencing management on a day-to-day basis.
    Experience of testing approaches and test execution within a project environment.
    Understanding of Supplier Management and procurement processes
    Understanding of contractual and commercial negotiation processes
    Ability to execute change delivery methodologies and frameworks (Waterfall and Agile).
    Expert in the use of project management tools & software (incl. Experience of Agile delivery methodologies and associated tools.
    Experience of project financial analysis and cost management.
    Ability to apply project analytical and decision making techniques (e.g. options analysis/scoring techniques, root cause analysis, critical path analysis).
    Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (including MS Visio and MS Project).
