The company, recognized as a top FinTech firm, has received awards from Deloitte and is among the fastest-growing FinTechs in the UK. Their technology addresses KYC/AML, Compliance, and Risk issues. With recent investment, they are entering a phase of rapid growth and require a Public Sector Sales Professional.

This new business role involves selling to large public sector clients due to the company's significant scaling. The ideal candidate should have SaaS sales experience, knowledge of public procurement, and familiarity with the tender and bid processes. Previous exposure to KYC/AML, HCM/HR solutions, FinTech SaaS, or Onboarding would be advantageous for engaging in relevant conversations.

Key Responsibilities: Account Executive - Public Sector

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to surpass sales targets in the public sector, fostering long-term client relationships for revenue growth.
Become an industry expert, understanding legal and compliance trends and challenges.
Identify new business opportunities through existing and new relationships within government and public sector organizations.
Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations, addressing the specific needs of public sector clients.
Lead contract negotiations, engage in bids and tenders, and secure deals aligned with company standards and client needs.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure a seamless sales process and superior client experience.
Stay updated on public sector trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to refine sales strategies.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management.

Qualifications: Account Executive - Public Sector

Minimum of 7 years sales experience, with 3 years focused on SaaS sales to the public sector, preferably in enterprise accounts.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Extensive network in the public sector, adept at building relationships with key decision-makers.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
Deep understanding of public sector procurement and financial technology regulations.
