    Description

    About Us

    King's College London is an internationally renowned university delivering exceptional education and world-leading research. The university is dedicated to driving positive and sustainable change in society and realising our vision of making the world a better place. Through its commitment to exceptional education, impactful research and genuine service to society, King's College London is creating positive change in its communities, both in London and on the world stage. The Strategic Vision 2029 sets out ambitious plans in five key areas:

    • Educating the next generation of change-makers;
    • Challenging ideas and driving change through research;
    • Giving back to society through meaningful service;
    • Working with our local communities in London;
    • Fostering global citizens with an international perspective.

    About the role

    The Alumni Events and Volunteer Coordinator is an exciting role, supporting the strategic priorities of the university by engaging alumni through a portfolio of events and meaningful volunteer opportunities.

    For almost 200 years King's College London has been working to make the world a better place. The Fundraising & Supporter Development Office has been integral to achieving the university's ambitious goals and mission.

    Reporting to the Senior Alumni Manager (London), and working closely with colleagues across fundraising, communications, and the wider university, you will build meaningful relationships with King's alumni, ensuring positive interactions as life-long members of the King's global alumni community. Overseeing a portfolio of events, webinars and volunteer opportunities, the Alumni Events and Volunteer Coordinator leads on initiatives such as delivery of the King's Expert Series webinars, arranging the King's Connect Mentor-Meetup events, and organising the King's Distinguished Alumni Awards ceremony.

    You are a driven and detail-oriented individual with experience managing projects to achieve business objectives. You are organised, enjoy working as part of a high performing team, and are motivated by building strong relationships with supporters and stakeholders.

    This is a full time, and you will be offered an indefinite contract. F&SD has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we're very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.
