    Description
    For over 24 years, our consultants have been supporting and guiding our clients to achieve low-carbon climate-resilient development.

    W e have achieved a 99% success rate in unlocking climate finance which has led to the successful mobilisation of over USD 7 billion of climate finance from global climate funds, including the GCF, GEF and Adaptation Fund.

    As Senior consultant, you will lead multiple assignments, be a key expert delivering excellence within the organisation in certain sectors, manage clients, represent E Co.

    externally, support knowledge management practices, support teams and colleagues' professional development, and contribute to the strategic growth and development of the organisation.


    Marketing & Communications:
    contribute to campaigns and content (blogs, report articles, social media posts, podcasts, webinars, etc.) Consulting/Billable

    Ensure that all assignments under your supervision are delivered on time, within scope and budget and of high quality
    Contribute to bid development and provide technical support to the Bid Development team
    Management of the contract, scope, budget, resource plan, the allocation and - programming of activities, and product delivery
    Identify issues and bottlenecks in a timely manner and seek support where necessary
    Ensure the delivery of the assignment deliverables with quality
    Oversee client management and develop an understanding of the client's expectations and manage those in line with the contract and scope of work
    Ensure quality communication with clients
    Management and developmentof the Consulting team

    Provide constructive input into the continuous development of E Co's assignment management and knowledge-sharing tools
    Support knowledge management & learning in a defined area and contribute to others; share knowledge and exemplary behaviours through mentoring, assignment quality assurance, retrospectives, assignment presentations and communities of practice
    Provide constructive input into the continuous development of all E Co. assignment management / standard operating procedures
    Plan and log your own working time (non-billable/billable) in the online time-tracking software
    Active use of E Co's CRM software and processes

    Climate policy (at international, national, or local levels) -Adaptation - Biodiversity/Nature-Based Solutions/Ecosystem-based adaptation - Water, agriculture, forestry and land use - Industry, energy, and infrastructure decarbonisation - Gender inclusion, social protection, and climate vulnerability - Climate impact assessment including GHG calculations - Climate finance mechanisms and processes (eg.

    Postgraduate degree – MBA, MA, MSc, PhD
    An outstanding academic and career record
    Proven and recent experience working with GCF and international development organisations, agencies, and banks is essential for this role (experience with other funds is welcome)
    Successful track record in sustainability/low-carbon/climate change projects or programmes – e.g. market assessment, project design, policy development, and impact evaluation
    Willingness to travel on assignments to Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Eastern Europe
    Strong oral and written English communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
    Highly conversant with internet and Microsoft Office applications
    Able to structure and process qualitative and quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from them
    Fluency in another language (including French, Russian, Arabic, Turkish, Portuguese, Chinese, and Spanish)
