- Produce financial reports and returns to NHS Improvement and the Department of Health and Social Care.
- Reconcile a range of control accounts related to the Trust's Statement of Financial Position.
- Assist in reviewing income contracts and ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards.
- Coordinate interim and year-end stock takes and prepare stock adjustment journals.
- Prepare monthly CIS returns and Congestion Charge reimbursement claims for review.
- Ensure timely payment of staff payroll deductions to relevant organisations.
- Maintain the Losses and Compensation register and prepare annual and quarterly reports for NHS Improvement and the Audit Committee.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounts experience within an NHS setting.
- Previous experience within a finance department.
- Understanding of double entry principles and general accounting procedures.
- Knowledge of year-end procedures and computerised accounting systems, specifically Cedar e-financials.
