    We are currently seeking an expert individual to join this team in the role of SP&ST Scenario Analysis Manager.

    In this role, you will:

    • Sit within the Group Strategic Planning & Stress Testing (SP&ST) function, which is responsible for conducting (i) all forecasting exercises across the Group and (ii) conducting forward-looking analysis to support the bank's core decision making processes.
    • Be involved in a range of critical exercises, including the Group's; Strategic and Resource Plan, Monthly Forecast, Internal Stress Tests, Reverse Stress Tests, Recovery and Resolution Planning, Regulatory Stress Tests, and Climate Change Scenario Analysis.
    • Support the team in conducting detailed analysis, identifying strategic insights and recommendations, and producing critical MI for the Group's Governance Committee members and regulators across the globe.
    • Develop your ability to identify and effectively communicate insights that Senior Management and Executives use to inform strategic decisions.
    • Be empowered to be innovative and creative within a fast-paced environment, whilst working in an extremely diverse and dynamic team.
    • Develop your understanding of how a Global Bank's performance is impacted under various macroeconomic and climate scenarios and how this analysis can inform senior decision- making.
    • Develop your technical, analytical, writing, managerial, and communication skills with a significant amount of senior exposure

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

    • End-to-end stress testing and/or financial/strategic planning experience;
    • Strong analytical experience within a financial sector;
    • A demonstrable academic/ technical subject matter specialism such as mathematics, finance, statistics, economics or academia;
    • Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
    • Strong communication and organisational skills, with an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to be innovative and identify solutions to new problems.

    The base location for this role is London and with a hybrid working pattern.
