Management Accountant

Salary:
up to £45K based on experience

Location – Kettering

T2M Resourcing is hiring a Management Accountant for a top international manufacturing company. This position offers a fantastic chance for professional growth and advancement.

As a Management Accountant, you will be an integral part of the finance team, focusing on various financial aspects such as month-end processes, payroll and Gross Margin analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, audit and tax analysis, and statutory filings.

You will be involved in supporting the team during budgeting and forecasting, specifically concerning SG&A costs, and identifying financial opportunities and risks.

This role involves working across multiple UK sites, necessitating travel between locations.

Main Responsibilities:

Completing monthly manual journal postings.
Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and period end processing.
Contributing to Gross Margin and SG&A analysis with variance explanations.
Serving as a financial contact for department heads and managing their cost center performance.
Identifying financial opportunities and risks.
Assisting in budget and forecast preparations.

Processes & Controls:

Participating in monthly consolidation and resolving intercompany variances.
Assisting in external audit processes to meet deadlines.
Managing the IFRS16 module.
Completing statistical returns and monthly VAT returns.

To excel in this role, you should demonstrate the following:

Ideally a qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA).
Background in manufacturing in a similar capacity preferred.
Experience in a fast-paced, business-oriented environment.
Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and ERP systems like SAP.
Act as a trusted business partner to finance and stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication abilities.
