    About the Role

    We are seeking a talented and driven Planning Manager to join our team, focusing on our newest client, The Very Group. This role involves managing the day-to-day output on the account, ensuring the best work is delivered, and contributing to innovative media solutions.

    About the Client: The Very Group

    The Very Group (TVG) is an online retailer distributing over 2000 brands across fashion, electrical, and home categories. Known for their flexible payment options via Very Pay, TVG's ethos is about helping families get more out of life. Following a successful pitch, TVG is Zenith's newest client, and this role offers the opportunity to bring a step-change media strategy to life, especially with TVG's new brand platform, 'Make it sparkle,' which focuses on turning the everyday into wonderful.

    Responsibilities

    • Campaign Management: Lead the day-to-day running of the team and campaign delivery, ensuring timely and proactive client management.
    • Client Relations: Build strong, trusted relationships with key day-to-day clients, and maintain high standards of client service.
    • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Planning Director on annual responses and lead smaller responses to client briefs, delivering outstanding work.
    • Team Leadership: Embrace and drive a positive culture within your team, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partner agencies and suppliers, fostering positive relationships.
    • Innovation and Growth: Influence and drive impactful initiatives, leveraging a strong test-and-learn framework to position The Very Group at the forefront of the evolving digital landscape.

    In the First Six Months, You Will:

    • Bring the Golden Quarter campaign to life by contributing innovative media solutions to achieve client objectives.
    • Become a key contact for clients, ensuring that day-to-day deliverables are of high quality and in line with client expectations.
    • Develop a good relationship with the planning team, clients, and channel teams at Zenith.
    • Gain a solid understanding of the client's target audiences and products.

    Skills and Experience

    • Media Planning Expertise: Proven experience in planning and optimizing campaigns across ATL and digital channels, with a good understanding of social, search, and programmatic channels.
    • Client Management: Experience presenting to clients and managing client relationships.
    • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Ability to use multiple data inputs to create well-thought-through and exciting media solutions.
    • Project Management: Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and stakeholders.
    • Telco Experience: Previous experience within the telecommunications category is a plus, but not essential.
    • Collaborative Attitude: A confident, ambitious, and motivated planner who enjoys working within a strong collaborative culture.
