    Description
    Are you currently working in accounts and have experience with reconciliations and banking? Would you like to join a business that offers you more variation and a chance to work closely with Management Accounts? An opportunity has arisen in Blackpool to join a well-established business on a permanent basis as an Accounts Assistant. This role will be working within the management accountant team and will be varied and rewarding. It's a lovely environment to work in, very vibrant, and the radio plays Sound good?

    Your duties will include:
    • Crafting and sending out the Daily Banking Report to Area Managers & Directors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Reconciling cash sheets weekly, double-checking PDQ and cash receipts, and liaising with Operators/Area Managers regarding any discrepancies.
    • Assisting with monthly stock reconciliations for management accounts, using third-party reports to ensure accuracy.
    • Ensuring adherence to month-end deadlines to keep operations running smoothly.
    • Providing ad hoc reports or analyses as needed by the Management Accounts Team Leader, ready to tackle anything that comes your way.
    • Collaborating with internal teams to maintain smooth financial operations, fostering a teamwork-oriented vibe.
      Your profile:
      • Thrives in team environments, consistently meeting deadlines and collaborating effectively.
      • Proficient in computerised accounting, especially with SAGE 200 (not essential).
      • Meticulous attention to detail and an organised approach ensure accuracy in all tasks.
      • Demonstrates a solid understanding of reconciliation processes.
      • Comfortable handling cash and banking procedures.
      • Proficiency with various software packages, including word processing and spreadsheets, making you a valuable asset to any team.
        In return:For your dedication, we offer a competitive salary of up to £28,000, Monday to Friday with early finishes on Fridays.
