    Description

    Finance Manager - Entertainment

    A well-known entertainment company located in Central London is seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join their expert team. This company is a leader in the industry and is set to expand rapidly, aiming to increase their workforce significantly in the next 6 months. The ideal candidate should be fully qualified and possess previous experience in the media sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage monthly consolidated management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and Key metrics) and information packs reporting to the Financial Controller.
    • Drive continuous improvement of the Group's monthly financial reporting process and controls, including intercompany.
    • Conduct regular reviews and substantiation of the Group balance sheet and key controls.
    • Offer technical accounting expertise and uphold the Group's accounting and financial policies.
    • Assist in consolidating and preparing annual statutory financial statements for Group entities.
    • Participate in planning and executing the Groups year end audit to ensure timely delivery within budget.
    • Ensure a robust financial control environment within the Group and meet all financial reporting requirements across the company to a high standard.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance the financial control environment and oversee the implementation.
    • Perform other Group Finance Manager tasks as needed to support the Group Financial Controller.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience in management reporting
    • Proven relevant accounting experience and technical knowledge in Financial / Management information
    • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a focus on controls
    • Be a team player dedicated to achieving overall team objectives
    • Preferred qualification in ACCA / CIMA / ACA
