    IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE CANDIDATES ONLY TO BE CONSIDERED - MAY 2024 START - MATERNITY FTC


    A farming and engineering client of ours in the Newmarket area are recruiting an Accounts Administrator FTC to join their team on a 9-month maternity cover FTC.

    This is a full-time fixed term contract position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm with 1 hours lunch and paying up to £27,000 per annum depending on relevant skills & experience

    Key Duties will include but are not limited to:

    Process purchase ledger invoices and customer sales invoices/commercial invoices/credit notes using the ERP system and Sage software.
    Credit control ensuring debtors are managed in accordance with company financial procedure; chasing overdue invoices.
    Collect data for and complete grant monitoring form (quarterly).
    Collate all delivery notes from stores.
    Marry to supplier invoices and process supplier invoices on the ERP system.
    Liaise with stores if processing issues arises.
    Send processed invoices to the Financial Director for payment if not paid by DD.
    Email supplier remittances daily. File all paid invoices in accounts filing system.
    Reconcile supplier accounts monthly to ensure all invoices are paid.
    Send customer statements monthly.
    Collate receipts from credit card holders and process the monthly statement.

    Other administrative duties such as answering phones, processing of sales orders into salesforce, leasing with internal departments and covering other admin team members in busy periods.

    Key Skills, Attributes and Experience required to be considered for this Accounts Administrator FTC position:

    Accounting knowledge up to trial balance
    Strong Excel skills
    SAGE accountancy package experience essential
    Computer literate including Microsoft office Suite knowledge
    Excellent Attention to detail
    Fast leaner, ability to challenge & self-starter
