Residential Care Officer Level 2
At Lincolnshire County Council, our primary focus is on delivering outstanding care for children and young individuals, fostering a supportive environment within all our Children's Homes.
The Residential Team is currently seeking experienced individuals ready to take on additional responsibilities as Residential Care Officers (Level 2).
About the Role
As a Residential Care Officer (Level 2), your role involves direct interaction with our remarkable children and young people, overseeing other Carers, leading shifts, initiating projects, and mentoring new staff.
You'll be involved in preparing our young individuals for independent living, managing household tasks, and maintaining solid relationships with stakeholders. The role includes working a varied shift pattern comprising evenings, weekends, and nights. Remuneration includes a 'sleeping in' payment, mileage reimbursement, overtime pay, and free parking at all homes.
We currently have open positions for Residential Care Officers (Level 2) at Eastgate in Sleaford and Strut House in Lincoln.
About the Homes
The Homes Manager at Eastgate, Kelsie, describes it as a home built on trust and love, providing a nurturing environment for young people to thrive. The team at Eastgate is known for being warm, supportive, and dedicated.
Strut House, as described by the Interim Homes Manager Heidi, operates at a high standard, creatively supporting young people's aspirations. The team actively plans and facilitates various activities and outings to build strong relationships with the young people.
