ITF ROLE OVERVIEW
JOB TITLE: Digital Product ManagerDEPARTMENT: DigitalREPORTING TO: Senior Project Manager, WTNLOCATION: Roehampton, South West LondonWe work to a hybrid model requiring a mandatory minimum of 3 days working in the office based in Roehampton, London and as part of this, Mondays and Tuesdays are 'anchor days' where all staff are obliged to work from the office.
Due to the timing of our projects, for this role we can only consider candidates who, on application, have the right to work in the UK.
International Tennis Federation (ITF) is the world governing body of tennis. Founded in 1913, its purpose is to ensure the long-term growth and sustainability of the sport, delivering tennis for future generations in association with its 213 member nations. The ITF oversees the rules and regulations that govern international and national competition.
The ITF is responsible for the worldwide development of tennis through its highly regarded Development Programme, its Science and Technical department which monitors equipment and technology, and its Officiating department which oversees the education and advancement of officials. The ITF is the owner of the two largest annual international team competitions in tennis, Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup (BJKC) by Gainbridge and manages the Olympic and Paralympic Tennis Events on behalf of the IOC and IPC. The ITF organises over 1,500 weeks of men's, women's and junior tournaments on the ITF World Tennis Tour, ITF Beach Tennis Tour, UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour and the ITF World Tennis Masters Tour (WTMT). The ITF upholds the highest standards of integrity and is a partner in the International Tennis Integrity Agency.
Overview of DepartmentITF World Tenis Number is a transformational digital initiative for the ITF, its vision is to provide tennis players around the world with an accurate measurement of their own level of play. ITF have created a global language that can help players identify opponents of an appropriate standard to play against. The aim of the ITF World Tennis Number is to encourage more players of all ages, genders, standards, and abilities to pick up a racket and play. The product is live in 43 countries around the world with 80 federations sharing results. A powerful algorithm maintains high levels of accuracy for 1.8 million players around the world. The ITF World Tennis Number is a truly global product and has the potential to be the most important driver of player growth for the ITF and its national associations.Roles and ResponsibilitiesProduct Management
• Working with the internal and external stakeholders to develop a vision for the ITF World Tennis Number (WTN) product and align stakeholders around that vision.
HR: Digital Product Manager Job Description
• Prioritise and manage the implementation of new product features.
• To work alongside ITFs digital team experts to utilise product research, insights and support feedback for the benefit and success of the ITF World Tennis Number product and the ITF.
• Working with 3rd party solutions providers and other ITF technical teams.Project Leadership and Coordination
• As directed, provide administrative support to the project and the stakeholders and customers of the WTN by coordinating important project activities.
• Managing the onboarding plan for ITF member nations as they share their players and customers.
• Regular coordination and distribution of ITF World Tennis Number progress reporting.
• Set up and maintain the DocuSign legal agreement process.
• Promoting and educating about ITF World Tennis Number to National and Regional Association project teams.
• Lead on the process for the allocation of ITF Digitalization grants to National Associations.
• To support the National Associations in managing any aspect of the new product.
• To coordinate and answer product and operational support questions on the new online helpdesk (alongside the ITF's solutions provider).
• To identify operational, data, process and product software improvements that will generate customer satisfaction and prevent support issues.
• Line-manage a team of at least 3 administrators or coordinators.As the needs of the business can evolve rapidly this role may change accordingly, therefore this document
should be viewed as guidelines which are subject to change.Essential Skills and Experience
• Strong experience of digital product management and with a strong technical background.
• Extensive experience of working with project management tools such as JIRA, , Smartsheet etc
• Intermediate or advanced level user of Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical thinker with the ability to apply strategy into outcomes.
• Able to think creatively and innovatively to help improve operations of the organisation and create new opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong team player with good organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Experience of working on and managing projects or planning and delivering change initiatives.
• Proactive, positive, and energetic attitude toward new challenges and opportunities.Desirable Skills, Qualities and Experience
• Ability to read and communicate in other languages.
• An understanding of the structure of ITF and World Tennis.
• Ability to show initiative and work independently.
• Ability to analyse and manipulate large data sets.
