- Involvement in laboratory tasks related to chemistry.
- Supporting the corrosion testing of paint and surface protection treatments.
- General laboratory metallographic sample preparation and use of microscopy.
- Maintaining Laboratory 5S standards.
- 2 years of hands on experience in wet chemistry and/or processing of coatings
- Must be familiar with titration, filtration, diluting acid solution, salt spray testing.
- Experience in electrochemistry would be an advantage.

This is an exceptional chance to join the Materials & Processes Laboratory team based in Gloucester.
The team provides Materials & Process expertise on a wide variety of subjects and provides support to a broad range of internal customers.
As well as supporting activities at a site level, the Gloucester Laboratory team work closely with other Materials & Processes Laboratories worldwide.
This role will require involvement in a broad range of key laboratory activities including general wet chemistry, testing of solvents and paints, the use of salt spray cabinets.
Experience with metallographic sample preparation would be an advantage.Responsibilities include:
