    Description

    Job Title: Site Engineer

    Company: Impact Recruitment

    Location: Wellingborough, NN8

    Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:40am-4:55pm, Friday 7:40am-12:40pm, 39-hour week

    Salary: £42,000 per annum

    Additional Benefits:

    • Free Parking
    • £1000 yearly bonus based on performance
    • 33 days annual leave

    Key Responsibilities:

    The Site Engineer ensures the business has all necessary machinery, tools, and equipment for operations. This includes maintenance, building services, and implementation of new equipment and processes in compliance with business requirements.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Maintaining a safe work environment
    • Minimizing machine downtime through regular maintenance
    • Providing tooling to the Operations team as per quality standards
    • Improving machine and process efficiency
    • Training staff in Preventative Maintenance
    • Effective cost-saving equipment management
    • Keeping service records for data integrity

    Required Skills:

    • Mechanical Engineering proficiency, including traditional and CNC tools
    • Hands-on experience in a similar role
    • Electrical competency with machine controls
    • IT proficiency, including MS Office and Sage MRP
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Formal qualifications preferred but not required (HND in Engineering, Electrical Certifications)
