    Senior Pension Consultant - Fully Remote RoleWe are looking for an experienced Pensions Consultant to join our homebased DB consulting team.

    Job Description:

    What will you deliver?Develop excellent relationships with client portfolios and understand their needs and objectivesMakes a significant personal contribution to the development of the team's consulting capability, collateral, and peopleAble to effectively communicate complex and technical issues to clients and colleaguesIdentifies solutions and risks for clients based upon an expert understanding of their situation and relevant technical, regulatory and statutory requirementsMaintains a client focus and concern for quality, which manifests itself in a high degree of client satisfaction and client/business retentionAssists Head of DB Consulting & Scheme Management in achieving its practice objectives.

    What are we looking for?DB Pensions experience in a client-facing role can include Scheme Events, GMP Equalisation, Buy In/Outs, Scheme Wind UpYou will have covered some or all of, the scheme secretarial work, DB pensions projects, Consulting or actuarial project work Excellent analytical and communication skills.

    Technical competenciesAIDB Technical CompetenciesKey responsibilitiesDevelop excellent relationships with client portfolios and understand their needs and objectivesEnsures regular contact with all clients within the portfolioMakes a significant personal contribution to the development of the team's consulting capability, collateral, and peopleAble to effectively communicate complex and technical issues to clients and colleaguesMaintains and develops a breadth of knowledge about all the services offered by the business and a complete understanding of those offered by the PracticeProduces advice to checking/peer review level on strategic/major issues that could result in substantial business risk.

    Experience, qualifications, and key skillsEssentialPrevious industry specific experience, particularly pensionsKnowledge of benefits legislationHigh level of English language skillsProficient in all relevant IT packages including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

    Excellent analytical and communication skillsProactiveWorks positively with colleaguesGeneral business understandingDesirableTechnical pension qualification (PMI)
