    We are seeking a talented Content Manager to lead the strategy and delivery of content across Investec's investment banking, corporate banking, and private banking businesses, with a focus on the UK market. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Business Marketing team and leverage their expertise in digital, media, social, and content to maximize the impact of the content generated.

    You will be able to translate complex financial concepts into engaging narrative for diverse client audiences. You will know how to both create and produce excellent content as well as work closely with activation teams in order to deliver content with high impact to target audiences.

    You will also be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality content from a select group of expert agencies.

    What you'll be doing

  • Contribute to the long-term content strategy for Investec, supporting the brand, products, and services.
  • Drive an impactful thought leadership program and ensure its ongoing delivery.
  • Stay informed about competitor and best-in-class activities, identifying tools to enhance content delivery and insights.
  • Identify and create content appropriate for Investec's client personas and revenue growth goals, both at business (B2B level) as well as, on a less frequent, basis for IBP (the corporate bank).
  • Identify, source and manage the best content partners for Investec to work with, supporting their understanding of Investec, its brand and tone of voice
  • Collaborate with creative teams and agencies to bring concepts and ideas to life.
  • Provide insights into the types of content that work on various social and digital platforms.
  • Work closely with the data analytics team to set performance metrics, track and calculate content ROI and identify optimisations and opportunities during campaigns and for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with Marketing Leads to gain in-depth knowledge of client personas and create content appropriate for their needs.

    • What we're looking for

  • Significant experience crafting thought leadership and business stories for B2C and B2B audiences.
  • Ability to blend brand and product strategies into cohesive and interesting content.
  • Financial services experience, preferably in corporate, investment, or private banking content roles.
  • A creative approach and strategic mindset in generating content in various formats to engage target audiences
  • Strong relationships with content agencies and the ability to maximize agency output.
  • Excellent communication, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with content management systems and analytics tools.
  • Working knowledge of on-page SEO and copy editing.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to articulate and present thoughts to a non-technical audience.
