- Preparation and development of monthly financial reports and forecasts, including the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting for the UK and other group companies.
- Provide advice, guidance and insightful analysis to the Board and Leadership Team, linking financial reports to business strategies.
- Analysing and interpreting KPIs for the Management team
- Design and implement robust and meaningful variance analysis and commercial commentary of month-end reporting
- Able to work towards and exceed targets with a positive attitude, whilst upholding quality, professionalism, and integrity
- Building and maintaining relationships with senior managers and their teams
- Be able to communicate your progress to colleagues effectively on weekly update calls and regular reviews
- Implementing changes to ensure that key targets are met
- Offering general financial support and challenge across the business to ensure processes and activities are geared for maximum performance
- Undertaking project-based work for specific strategies and business initiatives
- Contributing to key decision making, not just as a "trusted advisor", but as a key influencer.
- Assisting in transactional processing when needed
- Any other duties as determined by the Chief Finance Officer
- ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
- Experience in designing & building financial reports
- Proven experience in dealing with financial and management accounting requirements of a small to medium organisation and fully conversant with current accounting and financial reporting requirements
- Proven experience in compliance with statutory financial requirements
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to see the bigger picture and deliver against challenging strategic plans
- Adaptable to working independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Accustom to working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present, negotiate and influence at a senior level to a range of internal and external key stakeholders
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
