Description

Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Located in the West London Area - Hillingdon
Full-time position

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our team. If you are passionate about helping children with specialized needs in a school setting, this role is for you. We are looking for individuals with experience and a strong commitment to start working in September 2024, when the new academic year begins. Our school caters to children and young adults aged 5-18 with various SEND requirements including Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ADHD, severe learning difficulties, and speech and language communication challenges.

Responsibilities:

Experience in supporting young adults with learning challenges and disabilities
Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
A valid DBS registration with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS
Available full time, five days a week

Requirements:

Availability for work five days a week
