- Working with the Architectural Design team and third party MSP to deliver simple and complex environments and Azure services to support business initiatives, and supporting the troubleshooting of delivery.
- Supporting the inhouse Infrastructure team with Azure troubleshooting for BAU incident and problem management.
- Working with third party MSP on IaC deployments in Terraform, including Change Management
- Monitoring and responding to incidents across Azure platform.
- Follow change control procedures and submit/manage changes at the weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB).
- Experience of designing and supporting Azure solutions, services and technologies
- Holds current certification in AZ-104 Azure Administrator
- Holds current certification in either AZ-800, AZ-801 or Associate level certification for Windows Server Hybrid
- Experience in PowerShell/Python
- Knowledge in IaaS infrastructure
- Working knowledge of Terraform
- Experience a similar technical environment and will be familiar with Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
- Linux and Windows Administration
- Good written and verbal communication
- Good documentation skills

Description
The Role
With Group IT-based in London and Manchester, we are expanding the in-house Azure Infrastructure team with an Azure Infrastructure Technician to support the transformation and the future growth of the business within the Tech function. Following the successful lift & shift of servers and services to Azure, the role will understand the server architecture across the Group, and will oversee and manage the changes and support provided by third party providers. The role will be looking to modernise and simplify our environment, working with the architect function and third-party vendors to develop and deliver roadmaps towards automation and efficiencies across the environment.
The role is based in the Canopius Tech & Data hub in Manchester with occasional travel to the London office. Hybrid home working is supported.
