    Engineering Lead
    Full time / Part Time)
    Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in office.

    You'll be part of our cross-disciplinary feature team in addition to being a highly valued member of our wider Consumer Servicing and Engagement Engineering team.

    As part of these teams, you'll demonstrate and apply exemplary software engineering practices and skills, whilst working in a collaborative and agile environment.

    Extend the functionality of our existing web and mobile applications. You'll lead teams delivering web-based applications and play a key role in moving our legacy stack onto Cloud.

    You'll mentor and develop junior engineers, lead a team of engineers providing clear and constructive feedback, whilst creating opportunities for learning and growth.

    Build responsive web pages using frameworks/tools such as Java, Spring boot and Web Frameworks.

    An understanding of the full web application stack, deep and broad knowledge, with a focus on Back-end API skill set.

    Significant exposure to modern web technologies, especially; Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Web frameworks, JSP, JSF and microservices. Code using backend technologies (Java and ideally Go/Golang). Leadership experience of Engineering teams through line management, coaching & mentoring of developers. Using cloud platforms and technologies (Ideally GCP but AWS or Azure is fine).
