    ITW Construction Products UK/Nordics is a division of ITW within in the Construction Products segment. As a division our annual revenue exceeds $200m, with 450 people across 8 countries. We are suppliers of innovative engineered fastening systems and related consumables and software. These products are uniquely specified for a variety of materials, including wood, concrete and steel.

    Position Summary:

    As a marketing & communications executive you will be an integral part of the SPIT marketing team, responsible for the execution and implementation of the marketing strategy across the UK & Nordics markets. This role is also responsible for the communications strategy, using appropriate channels to influence the key decision makers in the industry and to understand and engage with the value propositions of our brand. The role reports to the Electrical marketing manager, but the responsibility covers both drywall and electrical segments.

    You will be building and enhancing the SPIT brand reputation, own and manage media relations and development of content for our digital and traditional channels. Identifying the interests of internal and external stakeholders in addition to using data and insights to understand current needs, challenges and opportunities. Finally, you will measure effects and results, learn from previous actions, and constantly work towards performance improvement.

    You will have a big influence on your tasks and together with the rest of the team you will take part in the aggressive growth journey of the business.

    It is preferred, but not required that you are be based in south east England. The role includes travel days within UK and the Nordic region.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Establish a communication strategy and implement across platforms and channels to increase brand and product awareness internally and externally.
    2. Generate Leads and instill loyalty with our end users through creating engaging, targeted content for each country in-house for own channels (web and social media).
    3. Keep a close relationship with the Commercial Team to build a communication strategy that meets market needs and drives growth.
    4. Identify opportunities to maximize SPIT brand visibility through our digital channels and Distributor relationships.
    5. External agency management and liaison.
    6. Implement and maintain brand identity and guidelines in collaboration with our graphic designer.
    7. Work collaboratively with the Product Managers to improve visibility of our products and ensure accurate presentation of data used by internal and external stakeholders.
    8. Work closely with the marketing managers to generate new ideas and innovative strategies.
    9. Set, work towards and follow up on KPIs in relation to the overall marketing goals, as well as track and measure ROI and deliver reports on communication efforts.
    10. Plan and deliver marketing campaigns on multiple digital platforms.
    11. Create and take ownership of the communications strategies for new product launches as part of the wider Go To Market Strategy.

    Your profile

    • Have 2-3 years' minimum experience in managing marketing communications across different channels, including website and social media.
    • A structured person with strong organizational skills.
    • Able to work independently, take own initiatives and lead projects.
    • Have the ability to stay structured, focused and deliver with a high degree of accuracy while working with multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Engaged and continuously looking to identify new opportunities that can drive growth.
    • Open to embrace new ideas, challenges and change with positivity and a hands-on approach.
    • A team player, enjoy working with others, supporting to your team and the wider business.
