    Default job background
    Schedule Full time
    Description
Inventory & Operations Planning Manager Description

easyJet's Engineering and Maintenance team are renowned for their innovative solutions. As part of the team you will have the opportunity to engage with all aspects of the airline's operation to deliver the highest standards of aircraft performance, and will play a part in delivering Europe's highest technical despatch reliability as recognised by Airbus. With the current program introducing the cutting-edge NEO aircraft and the arrival of the A321, there couldn't be a better time to join.

There are over 3 million parts that make up an easyJet Airbus A320 aircraft. But, at the critical moment, it is that one part that is preventing the aircraft from taking-off that we care about most. With over 500,000 parts transactions a year, easyJet's E&M supply chain team's purpose is to maximise aircraft availability whilst reducing inventory costs.

Handling over $250M of aircraft parts distributed across the European network with an annual spend in excess of £150M, the supply chain team manages the complete end-to-end process from supplier selection and supplier management through to the delivery of goods and services.

The supply chain team comprises highly motivated and dedicated professionals who succeed in a fast-paced, relentless and uncompromising environment that affords an essential flow of parts and services to support the operation.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering & Maintenance Supply Chain, the Inventory & Operations Planning Manager is an exciting and transformational role within the easyJet Engineering & Maintenance Supply Chain. This role will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end materials processes initiated by the demand and concluding with fulfilment. Responsible for matching demand, supply and optimal inventory levels to achieve maximum aircraft availability whilst reducing inventory costs.

What you need to do the role

We're seeking an experienced candidate with a proven track record of leadership in fast-paced aviation environments. With at least 5 years of management experience overseeing complex teams, you'll excel in this role. Your effective communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal abilities, will be essential for navigating relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Additionally, your confidence in handling large data sets and problem-solving skills will optimise procurement processes. While CIPS certification is desirable, your familiarity with AMOS and Agresso systems will be advantageous. Your understanding of aviation regulations, including Part 145, Part M/CAMO, and Part 21, is crucial for ensuring compliance. Don't miss this opportunity to join our dynamic Supply Chain team shaping the future of aviation.

    What you'll get in return

    > Competitive base salary
    > 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
    > BAYE, SAYE & Performance share schemes
    > 7% pension
    > Private Medical Insurance
    > Flexible benefits package
