Management of the operational business elements of GIM, playing a pivotal role in providing management support with demand and capacity modelling, budgets, recruitment of staff, business planning and project management to a deliver high quality, responsive and cost effective service, as well as supporting the Service Manager for ED and the wider Divisional team in the delivery of performance and business objectives with responsibility for the Emergency Department (ED).

The post holder will have first line management responsibilities for the Admin teams' secretarial services, Patient Flow Trackers, Receptionists and Ward Clerks which includes day to day operational issues, recruitment, retention and rota management, annual achievement reviews, sickness and performance management.

The post holder will be responsible for management of day to day data validation processes relating to accurate reporting of National Access Targets Ambulance Handover Performance and associated Emergency/ Short Stay Pathways to ensure the divisions services are meeting national waiting time standards. This will include the analysis of complex activity data from various sources and the reporting of findings to varying Trust senior audiences.
