    Description

    Job Title: Head of Supporter Marketing & Public Fundraising at Plan International UK

    Plan International UK is a renowned global children's charity operating in over 80 countries, focusing on long-term development initiatives, emergency response, and advocating for children's rights.

    They urge governments to enhance child protection, acknowledging that poverty, violence, and discrimination hinder the progress of millions of children, particularly affecting girls disproportionately.

    They envision a world where every child can achieve their full potential and every girl can shape her own destiny.

    • Lead a team of 22 (3 direct reports) to strategize innovative marketing campaigns aimed at attracting, retaining, and engaging supporters to drive public fundraising income and impact.
    • Champion a culture shift and provide effective team leadership to align with the new strategy of the Fundraising & Supporter Engagement Directorate.
    • Implement growth marketing strategies across all stages of the funnel to boost brand visibility, attract new audiences, and convert them into supporters.
    • Oversee planning, execution, and assessment of acquisition and retention efforts through various channels like digital, direct mail, events, and face-to-face interactions.
    • Collaborate with senior colleagues to address challenges, drive innovation, and achieve shared goals both within the directorate and across the organization.

    The ideal candidate will possess considerable experience in individual giving/marketing/digital fundraising, exhibit a results-driven mindset, and have a track record of successfully managing multi-million pound marketing budgets.
