Charles Donnelly

Since graduating university I have worked for a number of companies as a freelance producer, camera operator and director. I have worked on tourism commercials for Visit Wales, educational videos for schools and educational programs and several feature length documentaries.

My passion has been making feature length documentaries with a focus on social welfare and community/grass roots organisations.

My responsibilities have included -

Creative writing for scripts

Proposal writing for funding for documentaries

Project planning for commercial and documentary shoots

Creating and managing budgets

Logistics and scheduling of teams of up to 30 people

Camera operating

Video Editing

Directing feature length and short material
